How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Originally, started working in photography with Contemporary Photography in Sarasota, Florida. I started my own business in 2001 and I set up a small, intimate studio in my home.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I add a personal touch to all the images that I produce. I have an excellent eye for capturing the moment and believe in having an in depth interview with the client before any photos are taken. Knowing what your client wants and his personality is of uttermost importance to getting the personality of my client.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have a small studio in my home but prefer to shoot in natural light, if at all possible. I am lucky to have one of the lovliest parks in Pittsburgh two blocks from my home and will suggest it to clients, if at all possible. But there is so many beautiful locales for shooting in this city, I hardly ever use a backdrop in my studio.

Parkway East, 376, to the Squirrel Hill-Homestead exit, just before the Squirrel Hill Tunnels. Make the sharp right turn at the sign that reads "Greenfield". My location is approximately two blocks on the left side of the street, from that exit.

All of the city of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area, Edgewood, Squirrel Hill, Munhall, Greenfield, Regent Square, North & South Parks, downtown Pittsburgh.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I am the owner and primary photographer of the company. My name is Karen Burger. I have several people who assist me when I need a second shooter.
What are your hours of operation?
By appointment, any day of the week.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
My main concern is pleasing my clients and that means presenting them with pictures they can cherish for a lifetime. I am always glad to hear their suggestions and ideas about what they want in a particular shot.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
It's not how many breathes you take, its the moments that take your breath away that count.
