What is your primary product or service?
The Unicentric Platform is a case management system that is specialized to deliver a customized contact management, client record, document management, communication platform, and billing & accounting system to Healthcare and Social Assistance organizations.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Working at a consulting company that provided enterprise solutions to companies and volunteering at many organizations, I found myself on technology review committees. I knew there was a better way to preserve the unique delivery of service that organizations provide that was getting lost when they adopted off the shelf systems, yet avoid building completely custom solutions. So in 2001 we launched Unicentric to serve the needs of these organizations.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in enabling technology to server the organization. It enables them to keep their unique service delivery model and the flexibility to work with any funding model.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We deliver our software over the web, which enables us to centralize our corporate activities in our one location in the Strip District of Pittsburgh.
